s70 door handles on 850? 850 1996

Will s70 Door handles fit on a 1996 850? Or can you just paint the door handles on the 850? It will probably not be very good if you paint the door handles tho is what im thinking. Any advice??

I doubt they would interchange. The S70 lock mechanisim was
changed to make it harder to break into and the passenger side
does not have a key hole at all.

I've seen painted door handles on a red 850. It worked fine and looked great with the side molding that was also painted to the body color.

Go ahead and paint your door handles - I've repainted mine many times in the past on different Volvos, usually black but any color will look OK.
