Yokohama YK420 S70 2000

I am contemplating replacing my rapidly wearing out Michelins with Yokohama YK420's. Anybody had any bad experiences with these tires? Thanks.
Ed

I have put Pirrelli's P8000 on my S70 AWD 1999, and they are great. I have about 40,000+ mile on mine with tread left. They have the center groove for rain/snow.

6 weeks ago (with 21,000 miles on them) I replaced the Mich. MXV4's with Dunlop SP Sport A2's. I am very pleased with them. They handle as well as the MXV4's, are quieter, and cost 40% less.

I have Yokohama A540's . As soon as these are done, back to michelin I go. These tires look like hell and only have between 15 and 20 thoudand miles on them. The side walls are cracked to all hell. and 3 out of the 4 tires leak severly. tires were remounted but to no avail. Supossedly Yokohama is a good brand? well i guess i got stuck with the crappy batch of tires. Best of luck to you on your search for new tires.
