Crossroads/Seatback cable replacement 850 1995

I've gotten my seat ripped apart and one end of the cable removed. I can't figure out how to remove the four screws that hold the gear plate in place. The heads appear to be facing out towards the rim of the seat.

Go to Bay13 and print out the instructions for replacing the cable. Before you replace the cable make sure the cable is making contact with the gears. After I pulled the cable through and reconnected it, it worked fine.
