S80 1999 Brake Light, ABS Light, STC Light, Check Engine Light, ' ON'

Display says "Pull Over Car ASAP".
Then display says "Trans Service, Power Steering Service, ABS Service, Emission
Failure".

Through OBDII "Trans" has code for "Output Speed Sensor". Is it possible that the Output Speed Sensor is causing speed related problems to, Steering, ABS, and STC.

Thank You
Mark

My bet is on the ABS control unit. All the systems you mention get heir speed signal input from the ABS. I would suggest having ALL system codes read and get a more detailed picture of whats going on.

Replaced "Output Speed Sensor" on trans. Now the trans computer is happy???
As soon as I pulled on to the street "ABS, STC" lights came on. Then 1/4 mile
latter lights went off.
When I was replacing the Output Speed Sensors, I notice that the ABS module is similar to the ones on 850's S70's 1996 up. Do S80's have similar problems like the 850's. The way the ABS Lights come and go make me think the Module is bad.
I looked on the microfiche, it appears that no software is required? I am tempted to put in A new ABS Module.

Thank You
Mark

That is correct, there is no software required for the ABS module, and they are having starting to go south like the 800/70 series units. Even the 02's are having problems, but 02 requires download. For your 99, it's plug and play.

You might not like my answer but the only place that you'll get that resolved is at a dealer using their Vadis PC. No easy solution to that otherwise nor will I guess from here.

Yes. The computer needs to ensure that all the other parts work together. If the output cannot be read, then the other parts cannot adjust.
