I have a 1998 S70 T5 manual transmission. Which is the best manual trans. fluid?
also what kind of lubricant is used to lube sunroof?

Volvo uses a special type of synthetic fluid for their MTs and if a dealer doesn't stock it, they can order it for you. I wouldn't use anything else IMO.
There's also no specific change interval for it and I know there's MT 850s out there with over 200K miles, original MT fluid. I have yet to see one of those trannies go bad but then they're not common in the US either.
