The car is running perfectly except that none of the gauges on the instrument panel are working. I/ve looked in the owner's handbook but the gauges are not listed against any fuse. Help.

What happens if you move the key slightly with it running (not towards start)? I'm thinking maybe an ignition switch, definately so if the guages come back to life with moving the key a tad.

Thanks. Sorry for the late reply. You could be on to something. Later that same day the gauges starting working when the car was restarted and have been okay ever since. However, this also has a annoying habit starting and then dying on odd occasions. i cannot establish a pattern. The switch could be the problem.

Hey that happened to me a few days ago. Everything else was working fine just none of the gages. It fixed its self though and has never happened since. At least I know now my car isn't the only weird one.
