I am about to add a third row seat to my 1994 850 T5 wagon. I currently have the 6 pack CD player located in the rear under the carpet (spare tire area). Can you tell me if i can fit that CD player anywhere esle. I think i have heard that it will fit into the glove box and that the cabling is already there. Any insight would be helpfull.

There's an install kit to relocate it next to the 3rd seat and a dealer parts guy should be able to get you the parts.

I drive a 98 V70 and I have a third row seat and a CD changer. When I installed the changer, I had 2 options. 1 - Glovebox but I kinda wanted to keep my glovebox free - I find it functional. 2 - I decided to do a bit of custom work and put it recessed into the left rear wheel well, off to the left of the trunk, flushed into the floor.

One other option I don't know if it will work may be underneath the front passenger seat.
