Now my question.... I am trying to fix some cracks in my nice leather sits.... (not too nice in HOT weather)... anyway... I found a couple of places in the internet www.leathermagic and www.leatherrepairkits.com where I can buy a leather repair kit... Now I need to pick the right color.. they have on their list for volvo this 6969 light beige/Ivory ... looks like mine but when I went to EBay to check a couple of volvo similar to mine
they describe them as light beige/tan .... Does anyone knows if those are the same?

I've used a vinyl and leather repair guy recommended by my Volvo dealer. Apparently there are tradesmen (or women) who operate out of their vans with airbrushes and a palette of about a bazillion slightly different tones and go from dealer to dealer to touch up the interiors of cars on the used car lot. It takes a VERY good eye to match the colors, considering that thanks to sun-fading the colors may no longer match what was in the car from the factory. I was very happy with the results on my two cars that the guy did.

You might try referencing a Chiltons/Haynes manual. Most cars have both intereior and exterior colors/numbers on a placard somewhere in the vehicle. I'd do a little research around your car and find that. It may help you in your quest to match what you have with a repair kit. To be honest, I haven't searched for mine, so I can't tell you where it is :S or with 100% certainty that there is one. Give it a go.
