Clunking front end V70-XC70 1999

I get a repetitive clunking sounds when I make a slow (5-10mph) and tight right-hand turn in parking lots and in the driveway.
Anyone have any ideas what it may be and how much would it cost?

Thanks

Did you try greasing the steering stops? V70-XC70 1999

About $2.99 for the grease, 1 pint should last the life of the car.....

First time I heard it on mine, I thought I broke a spring!

I have an 01 V70 with 30k kms, I just did the front end downlinks. They seem to be part of the swaybar system and are very problematic on my V70, I believe yours suffers from the same problems.

Regards,
Norm

I second Norm's opinion. My 98 V70 T5M was clunking at the slowest speeds on the smoothest surfaces. I was sure that there was something seriously wrong. Much to my relief, my mechanic found loose bolts on the swaybar links. Once tightened, all the racket disappeared. Let us know how it turns out.
