Another strange noise 850

I've had another strange noise that I've had for the past couple years. Its particularly noticeable in cold temps. When the car starts to move, just at about 1200 rpm or so, a vibrating sound comes out of the engine bay. I've tried to pinpoint the sound, and I think it come's from a belt tensioner or sumthin. When I get a buddy of mine to give it a little gas, I can notice it coming from the belts. Anyone else have any problem like this?

Thanks,
Kevin

Could it be the 850's cold-weather "ghost?" Many owner's report hearing a groan or moan from the belt end of the engine till it's at operating temp. I'm guessing it's from the timing belt. Mine usually stops inside a mile travelled.

That happens to me once in awhile. It sounds like a loud ticking sound, almost like something is caught in the belt. When I give it some gas, it usually stops. I've noticed it starts doing that when I'm due for an oil change. I have no idea what it is and the car runs fine.

could be the belt tensioner at slow or low rpm. Have tried to spray some oil or son of a gun on the belt to see if it goes away. Have you sprayed anything on the belt tensioner pully?
