Update on clattering in right front wheel well S80

Took it to the dealer as I didn't have time to mess with it. Turns out the problem was the strut mount. Evidently there is a rubber bushing between the strut and the mount that gave way. Cost me $320 to do both sides. They also found the engine torque link rubber bushing was shot too, but I declined that as I can do myself easlily. Car only has 70K on it, what a piece of doo-doo!

    that was exactly what i told you 3 days ago !!! its not an s80 exclusive. that happens to 850's, s/v70's too

    was talking to a mechanic at volvo dealer and he mentioned that the mounts on the s80 seem to go out pretty quick...some as early as only 30k miles...

      I've seen torque mounts broken at 15k. Strut bushings too.
