"I´m searching for a fog-light kit for my '93 850 GLT. I went to the volvo dealer, but wasn´t a bit pleased with the price. My question is this: Who makes the fog lights? Is it Hella? Is it possible to buy the fog lights directly from them, and if so what´s the part nº? I´m looking for a factory looking look, is there any aftermarket solution?

I would like to add that my fog lights are the big rectangular ones, unless anyone nows of a decent round fog light adaptation kit, i´m only interested in the big rectangular lights.

If you're crafty with tools, you can upgrade to the Hella MicroDE foglight, a 2" round projector foglight that will fit in the 850 round foglight hole. It has a much better pattern than the OEM (also a Hella, but the Volvo kit comes with brackets) - in fact, it may be the best halogen foglight on the market. I use them on my 700/900's to augment the gawdawful lighting that comes on that series. Awesome lights. The tricky part will be mounting them, as you'll probably have to make some small adaptations behind the airdam. (I say that, but in my 700/900's, I can screw the bracket right to the sill in the airdam.) Kit comes with wiring harness, relay and switch. I replace the switch with Volvo oem, and adapt the wiring harness so I can operate the foglights indepent of the headlights. If you're interested, I can send you some instructions.

look on ebay.com i often see the 93 kit on the for $100, im looking for the 95 ones. (so it anybody knows where to get them please post).
