Directional Control Switch S70 1999

It seems that sometimes when I use my directions at night my headlights go out. I usually turn them to the off position and then back on and they relight. Has anyone else run in to this problem? If so, please let me know the cause, the dealer will not even look at the problem until the lights go completely dead, which I feel would pose a very dangerous situation. Thank you for any advice you may offer.

Never heard of that exact complaint but if your headlamps go out and pressing on the headlight switch makes the headlights flash on, the switch is NG and they've been known to be problematic, especially '98s.
