I've been trying to track down a service manual for my car for a couple of weeks now. The only thing I've come across are teh Volvo offerings - but these are $300 - $500 (CD set or website subscription). I'm looking for somehting a little more resaonable , any ideas?

Two options:

IPD has the UK Haynes S/V40 manual for about 20 bucks. It's enough info for general maintenance. www.ipdusa.com They have ads on this site.

Alldata ( www.alldata.com or www.alldatadiy.com ) is an online service you can subscribe to for a reasonable annual fee. Has recall and service bulletin info as well.

I saw that the Haynes manual is for model years 96 thru 99. Do you know if this manual would still apply to my 2000 model year?
