Passivated glass? S40-V40

Does anyone know if the S40 ('00 specifically) uses "passivated" glass? I would like to install an "on-glass" ham radio antenna on the rear window but I heard these types of antennas don't work with "passivated" glass.

Hi David,
I wondered the same thing about the glass. It does seem to offer good insulation from the sun, I assumed it was. I made the plung and installed a Larsen system. Its neat and simple. You can alwasy change the antenna top to a cell type if selling the car. It works well. I have a 2/440 dual bander, just a short whip maybe 19".
