Heated Seats S40-V40 2002

My heated seats are luke-warm at best. Dealer says no chance is changing this. I get into other cars with heated seats and its a completely different story. Any ideas? I own a 2001 S40. Thanks.

Has the dealer checked the seat heater switch and the current to the heater elements? If the switch is faulty, it may only be giving you low level current when you are setting it for high.

When you say "other cars" are you talking about other S/V40's, or another car make? If other S/V40's have seat heaters that are hottter than yours.....just ask the dealer to let you see how hot/warm the seat heaters are in other 40's on their lot........then take it from there.
