Struts/Shocks - Koni's or Bilsteins for my 850 850

Time to replace my struts and rear shocks.

I have narrowed my selection to Koni Sports or Bilsteins HD.

I want better handling, control and slightly firmer ride.

I don't want an autocross set-up (i.e. hit a pebble and your teeth fall out or go airborne).

Leaning towards the Koni Sports.

Anyone care to offer their experience ?

i have a '97 850r and put h/d's on about a month ago, and the difference is great. better ride, feel, everything- the price was better from thevolvosite.com and the install wasn't too bad-koni sport look like a great shock as well, but my experience is only between factory and h/d

Jake,

Never tried the Konis but I have had the Bilstein HDs for a while and they are a big improvement over stock. The nice thing about Konis is that they can be adjusted; but that doesn't mean the Bilsteins aren't worth it they have a very nice dampening to them.
