first time owner questions...Spark Plugs/Maintenance 850 1995

I bought a volvo last week. It is a car I could not afford when it came out in the 90's. So i waited. Found one i liked(Paint code 418-11..a true "Brick'). Clean, fast(Computer-thingy says 25MPG!). 100 miles from the guy-i-bought-it-from's house the check engine lite came on. "Hello", i thought. Got into the little box with the jumper and reset it. "Talking Engine" beeped back error #436 on module next to windshield wiper reservoir(French word). Thanks Bay 13. OBD-II said PO133(slow first o2 sensor. Thanks AutoZone) Question(unrelated): What plug do I use for a Turbo engine B 5234. Manual says Champ "RC7GYC"...European plug(not available?) or Bosch FR 6 DC(can't find). Volvo dealer wanted to charge me $57.06 plus tax for his 5 gold-plated Volvo plugs(how economical). I think the non-turbo uses different plugs. (1)Anybody gotta cheap(reasonable) quality sure-fire solution?
(2)This car came record-less(not a scrap).I know the belts were both changed (upon purchase) as well as a new rear main seal(why?) and tranny fluid.I want to start with a clean slate. If you were me, What would you checklist look like?(Is there something in the archives for this?)
(3) Most of you seem to own 2 cars. This is my only car. Mistake? Keep the Maxima?
(4) Thanks for a great,active site...fascinating... and re-assuring. Carry on, people.
