Cruise Control not working S40-V40

Got a 1998 V40 SE, GB Spec. The cruise control don't work at all. There are many sensors and tubes, before I start checking them all are there any which fail more often than others?
Oh, checked the fuse already.

    If it helps any: I had a problem with mine a few years ago... the dealer said a vacume line was leaking/coroded.

    I had the same problem with my 1998 S70T5 in which the cruise suddenly stopped working. The dealer found a corroded poor connection at the cruise control controller, they cleaned the connection and problem was solved. It might not be your problem but it won't hurt checking as it's a cheap fix.
