back seal 850

How do you change the back seal and how do I get into Bay 13 to get information on the process of changing the seal? Thanks everyone.

    If you are referring to the main seal- Good Luck if DIY !

    Cost of the parts is nothing- but the labor to get to the seal is intensive.

    Believe you'll have to pull the transmission to get to it.

    Do a word search here and at volvospeed.com (bulletin board section) to get a flavor from prior discussions on the matter.
