Hey all,

The time has come to replace the roof rail strip on my 850 (getting tattered). To those that have done this, where would be a good place to get the rail (online?), how long did it take you to replace, and is there anything remarkable I should know about the replacement process?

A friend of mine replaced his on his 96 850, and he used the V70 98-2000 rails, which have a built-in rain guard. They fit perfectly, and now rain doesn't come into an open window while driving. I would try Borton volvo and just search the net for volvo dealers. The VCOA mag has a list of dealers that offer discounts for members.

Any chance you could get the part numbers for me?
I just wanted to make sure I understood what you said. Any year from 1998 thru 2000 of the V70 model sedan should fit my 1995 850? Is this correct?
