I am about to change engine oil from dino the Amsoil OW-30, and would like the experts advice on filters. I can get Bosch, and Mobil 1 locally (the Mobil 1 filters cost almost twice the price of the Bosch, I would have bought Mann, but can't find a local retailer. Would anyone recommend either the Bosch or Mobil?
Many thanks
The Bear

FYI: FCP Groton sells Mann oil filters for $3.30 each in a case of 10 filters,
they are identical to the OEM ones with the check valve built in.

Of the two, I'd use the Mobil 1 n/m 850 1999

Mobil1 is a good filter but I buy the Amsoil SDF-42 for less $.

Bosch are just OK. They'll work but the last ones I had were so-so contruction.

Maybe bite the bullet and compare a Volvo/Mann at the dealer (ouch) to the Mobil1. Then mail order Amsoil or Mann filters for the future.
