I need to replace the tires on the above mentioned vehicle. I live in San Diego, so snow is of no concern. Since the AWDs require replacing all four ties at once, I am looking for something that will have a long tread life and handle well. I am also considering plus sizing my tires. Any thoughts, comments, two cents, honest opinions, etc... are welcome

Hey Delgado,try the khumo"s Ecsta supra 712 in 215-45-17 size.Great in wet and dry and reasonably priced as well.

Last summer, I purchased a set of Z rated Michelin Pilot Sport A/S tires. I chose them over the comparble Pilot Sport summer tire not so that I could use them as winter tires, but because they had the same wet and dry traction rating, and twice the treadwear rating.

I now have snow tires on the car, but am looking forward to getting the Pilot Sport A/S tires back on the car in the spring time.

I got a set of Yokohama AVS DBs from Tire Rack. Great grip for me, wife loves them because they are so quiet. She HATED the Pirellis that were on it before they were incredibly noisy. They aren't cheap though.

I just upped size to 17" wheels, tire size is 215/45/17. I bought the cheepies, Yokohama Avid H-4, cause I spent more on wheels. My preferance is either Micheline or Bridgestone, look at Tirerack for test results, good info.
