I'd thought my buffing your body every Saturday afternoon was enough to get your wax off.

Citrus solvent will remove the wax without attacking the plastic mouldings. You can get it in any hardware store or ski shops (it's used on ski bases, which are plastic, to remove old wax).
Happy removing.

Volvospeed Bay 13 recommends Softscrub brand cleaner. Never tried it, but it makes sense.

Good luck.
