How's the AWD on the new S60? S60

My mom has been thinking about buying a V70 AWD for a while now, and it might happen this spring. I know that the new AWD system in the V70's (the one that replaced the old bastard of a system from the previous model year) has been in the S60 for a while. Any issues with it? (performance, reliability, etc.)

    According t the manufacturer:

    Currently the Haldex AWD-system is introduced on the following vehicle models
    - Volkswagen Golf 4motion
    - Volkswagen Bora 4motion
    - Volkswagen Beetle Rsi
    - Volkswagen Sharan
    - Audi A3/S3 Quattro
    - Audi TT Quattro
    - Skoda Octavia 4x4
    - Seat León
    - Seat Alhambra
    - Volvo S60 AWD
    - Volvo V70 AWD
    - Volvo XC 70
    - Volvo XC 90
    - Volvo S60R AWD
    - Volvo V70R AWD

    So at least if it goes down the tubes this time, you'll have a lot of company. FWIW, I haven't heard of any problems with the Haldex system here, and with the prior AWD system there was IMMEDIATE and frequent screaming about problems.

    Pretty much untested, so far. As with any new technology or engineering marvel introduced by Volvo over the last decade, wait and see might be the most intelligent course if reliability is important to you. Their record of product introductions is notoriously spotty and has done a lot of damage to their reputation. (This is not meant to demean their inventiveness, just the quality of execution. And this is true of some other European makers, too.) On the other hand, maybe they got it right this time.

    So far, so good. I've not yet heard of or seen any major problems with the new Haldex AWD system.
    Now....IF you want performance, the S60R and V70R are suppose to be arriving this May-June so those should move, 300HP!
