Howdy,

Just wanted to share. I been wanting to get the service light reset tool from IPD, but had a hard time justifying spending $180 for it....and most others were around the same price. I found it for 147.20 at the site below... which was just enuff for me to purchase:)

    Assenmacher also has a combination with SRS reset available. I bought the combination unit for about $10 more. My S70t5 falses on SRS when a lot of weight is put on the back seat. Go figure.

    I could justify about $10 for a tool that does this. Even then, I would hesitate. The SERVICE reminder light does not need to be reset - it goes off by itself after 2 minutes or so. I don't even notice it anymore. There are many things I could buy for $150 that are much more useful, like an OBDII code reader. Just my oppinion.

      I understand your point Vladimi. I don't understand why they don't add the the reset functionality in the OBDII. Anyhow I need a reminder and even if it is 2minutes everytime you start the car.... it really annoys me...but that's just me:)

        3M black electrical tape, $1.79/roll (plus tax) at Home Depot. Cut square. Place over light.

        Saves $145.41.

    Now you tell me! I reset the service light with the tool I just purchased from IPD. Well at least the light is turned off. Thank for the link. I may purchased other tools from them.
