Bulb failure light 850 1994

Since I have my '94 850 GLT aut. the bulb failure warning light goes on at startup. It remains on until I step the brake pedal, then it goes off. It only occurs once just after switch on the engine. I have checked all bulbs and they are all ok.

Is it an initial warning light autocheck? or really it indicates a problem with a bulb?

Thanks in advance.

Then there is a problem I understand.

I suppose that it is a problem related with brake bulbs since the problem seems to disappear when I step the brake pedal the first time after startup.

Are you sure it is not an autocheck of the warning light?

My 96 has a ploblem similar to yours.

It turns out one of the sockets the bulb goes into is slightly deformed in my tail light assembly. I fixed the problem for the most part only really cold mornings are a problem anymore. The previous owner I think tried putting the wrong bulb in and messed up the socket.

make sure that all your bulbs have the same resistance (if replacing them ,replace by pairs with same tipe of bulb for the RH ,LH ), that could be your problem...
