Is Oxygen Sensor covered under warranty?? C70

I was wondering if the 8 years/80,000 miles Volvo emissions warranty covers the replacement of oxygen sensors?

Please advise!

fyi, Even the VIP or whatever program doesn't cover the O2 sensor. (Did ya think it would?) mine going bad at 54K. D~

My VIP warranty covered both the front and back O2 sensors. Mine went back right before 100k miles (almost the end of the VIP warranty). Dealer called Volvo VIP department and told me that both sensor were covered. I only paid $25.

I don't know whether Volvo had changed the VIP coverage after 1995.

It is not covered by the 8 years/80,000 miles in MA. It is only under teh 4/50k miles original warranty or 7/100k miles extended warranty.

Maybe in some states (like MA, CA) and maybe newer years but in most states, to my knowledge it's still 4/50.
