Adjust valves at 90k miles? V70-XC70 1998

My car is up for 90k service. Most of the things it looks like I could do myself, except for adjusting the valves. How extensive is doing this and is it something I could have the dealer do all by itself?

    Through 98 the lifters are hydraulic. No adjustment required or possible.

    I thought the 850/V's had hydraulic lifters! Somebodys looking to take you for a "ride"!

      That's interesting because the service interval booklet from my local Volvo dealer says that valve adjustment is part of 90k service Hmmm. That rid is a trip I don't plan on taking
