Pop in front suspension. Ball Joint?? HELP 850

i recently lowered my car and afterwards i had to replace my front left strut mount because i was getting a popping noise. i got it fixed and it went away. now i have another popping noise and it sounds like a ball joint. could this be what it is. everytime i hit a bump or turn to go into a drive way, the suspension pops. any way i can check to find out what it is. anyones help would be great. thanks.

Pop in front suspension. Ball Joint....not likely 850

Ball joints don't usually make noise and if you even suspect they bad, one can easily check them with the wheels off the ground. Like the other guy, I'd suspect that there's something not quite right as a direct result of lowering the car, something is either not tight enough or something is now too close to another part and hitting it. The lower control arm plastic stops often make noise at full stops and it's helped by adding grease but with a lowered suspension, perhaps those are now noisier than usual? Just an idea.

Could it possibly be that the popping noise has something to do with the lowering of your car, i.e. something is out of tolerance, or maybe you missed tightening of a bolt that apparently looks tight to the eye, but is loose enough to cause problems? Simple to do. Maybe try retorqing(?)the bolts.
