Does anybody here with S70s have any directions and/or tips to adjust the headlight wiper arms? My father's in the garage right now as I write this and he's having difficulty with them.

If your having the problem of the arm not comming all the way down. Try just turning the car off. Take the key out, then put it back, and try the washer. This has worked a few times for me on 99's when the arm came above the hood, and then did not go all tha way back down.

I adjusted mine permanently.

I removed the headlight wiper arms, plugged the washer hoses, and put a grease-filled wire nut on the shaft to protect the threads. The nut matches body color. I will probably substitute a nice chrome acorn nut in the spring.

pop the hood,

than watch the wiper, every time you turn the key to start,
the wiper will head back down a inch at a time, it took
me 20 click to get resting, than disconect , look for
the brown conector and un do.
