2000 S80 T6 47,000 miles - lease buy out negotiated down to $20,800 from $27,000. Anyone think it can go down more? Auction price 19k. All comments welcome. Down to 30 days left on lease.

    You might be able to re-lease the car and get an extended warranty. If you use it for a company related car you might even be able to get some or all of the lease payments you make deducted from your taxes as a business expense.

      It started out as we do not negotiate and then just dropped. I was pleasntly stunned. I would love to claim some seceret, but I think they are just getting killed in autions and would lose if they took the car back. I saw a S80 w/o Turbo selling this past Sunday - locally for $19,900

        That's a great deal! I tried and tried but they wouldn't budge more than 2000. I have about 40 days left. Just bought a Mercedes E320 and I could not be happier. They can have this piece of shit S80/T6 - the whole front end feels like it is falling out. And that's after the dealer "fixed" it.

          What is the front end issue. I have no problems at all. any information would be great. Not sure why they dropped. I just heard they are getting killed at auctions

            a lot of s80's and a few other high line volvo's are going to the ford dealer only auctions now where they get bought cheap. The ford guys are then flooding the market with these off lease cars and driving the prices down. The only thing that I have seen a lot of on the S80'S with the front end is the spring seats (p/n 8646713) and sometimes the front struts.
