wondering about noise S60

I recently purchased a 2002 S60 and occasionally, I hear a noise when making extremely sharp turns. Usually it open happens within the first few minutes of starting up. It sounds like something "revving up" and it only happens while excellerating through a sharp turn. IS THIS NORMAL?

    Check the level of power steering fluid. If it is too low, the sound you describe will appear at sharp turns.
