My "95 GLT has a small leak from rack-and -pinion - there is no fluid on the floor, but the level in the PS pump was low, and my mech. said he saw a small leak from a R&P shaft area.
Someone on this board reported good result w/ a sealer - the question:
should I use a PS sealer or a transmission sealer since the car use ATF in place of PS fluid?

I used a product called "Lucas Power Steering Stop Leak" in my daughters Mazda. It's thick gooey stuff that supposedly softens the seals up and makes them pliable and effective again. It has certainly worked well, hardly ever have to top up and we are now 3 years down the track since I first put it in. Wynns also make a similar product.
