Lug nut corrosion V70-XC70

My '01 XC with 35,000 mi. has quite a bit of rusty looking corrosion on the chrome lug nut heads. Has anyone else seen this problem, and are the lug nuts covered under warranty? Thanks! --- John

    Same problem on an '01 S80. Replacement seems to be at the Dealer's discretion (may or may not be covered). Usually not covered if it is only cosmetic, but it is worth a try. Others have reported good results with sanding and painting the heads, so I may try that at the next tire rotation.
