Anyone out there have this problem?? My Automatic shifter locks from time to time and I have to use the release button off the the right side. Doesnt happen all the time and I havent really noticed a pattern, like forgetten to keep my foot on the brake while starting the car and such... Anyone know what could be the problem?? Its a real pain for Valets, LOL.... Thanks in advance for any help....

    Your question should be "Does anyone NOT have this problem?" I think almost everyone on this board had their microswitch malfunction.

      I guess it must be a common problem. Luckily for me Dennis 850GLE was able to help and point me in the right direction, thanks Dennis, thats what I call a helpful post.
