How to tell a Light Pressue Turbo S70.... Suggestions anyone....... S70

I have a non turbo S70 and have looked at several S70 models and i cannot seem to tell which one is the Light Pressure Turbo model (LPT).....

The turbo S70 obviously has the rear badge, tires, and pressue boost gauage BUT i cannot seem to tell about a light pressure turbos.

Looking at the rims on some models does not help either becuase you could purchase the turbo or other rims as an options.

Is there a letter in the vin???? Do all the GLT models come with LPT???? Is there anything in the engine bay that will distinguish one????? Model badges..... was the SE model a LPT version

Any wisdom on this would be much appreciated!!!

How to tell a Light Pressue Turbo S70.... Suggestions anyone....... 850 1995

for the 850, the only lpt came in 1997 as the glt trim...u could tell by the square exhaust on the glt vs circular for the 1995/1996 glt n/a.

as for the lpt, it should sound a bit more muted than the n/a...

the owner circle from volvo should provide help u with some of the questions.

Only T5 models have the HP turbo. GLT and AWD models have the LPT. The rest are normally aspirated.
