I don't know about the brand -- all that I can say is that they're *probably* not Volvo parts. But honestly, I'm not sure. Take a look at the replacement and the OEM parts, side by side:

You can see that the end caps on the links are different, without those ridges that the OEM parts had on them. Also, the "Volvo Spare Parts" sticker on the box is somewhat suspect. It doesn't say "Genuine Volvo Replacement Parts" or anything like that, although the use of the Volvo font and colors might indicate that they ARE from Volvo. Lastly, the text on the top and bottom of that sticker says "The Art of German Engineering" and "Front Suspension."
German Engineering? Granted, about half the parts on the car were made by Bosch and other suppliers, but... I dunno. On the other hand, for the price, and 45 minutes of my time, what can it really hurt to try them?
