If both unrelated lights come on, I'd guess that you might then have a bad ignition switch. When they start to go, that can happen and usually the lights will go off if you back off a bit with the key, turning it slightly counter-clockwise but not so far that the engine shuts off. If that's it, you need just the electrical part, not the complete assembly (with tumblers).

are you talking about the SRS Suplemental Restraint System (air bags)?

if so i do not think it is related to the ABS coming on/off, different system.
