Need help in figuring out the front end problem..might seem weird to ask,,, 850 1995

I have a 95 850 turbo with 93500 miles and last week after driving for a while , i came home and pushed on the front end and heard some crushing noises from the strut area and i thought it sure was the strut..I thought the front strut might have been broken, sway bar or some bushing might be broken..i got the car back from the mechanic and he found no problem..,it seems that after driving for a while the front end if not stable or something get real loose...

Can anyone tell me if some other front end part has a reputation of giving out at this mileage that I can focus on ..the car is definitely not handling too good..but i cannnot seem to figure out which part is going..i hate to put in new struts when i don't really need to..

thanks

there is a tourge link a small rod like 10 inhces long that connects the body/frame to the sway bar i think, it is notorious for the bushings going bad.

i see them all of the time for sale on Ebay

Could be a bad upper strut support bushing, top of strut. It's not unusual at your mileage BUT the whole strut needs to be removed (spring compressed) to replace it. That's more likely than a bad strut on an 850.
