i have been trying to clear the codes from my 95 850 turbo according to the instructions in the Haynes manual..i read all the codes first and then tried the procedure to clear the codes for each socket but i the procedure to clear the codes seem to be not working..

if i am correct the procedure to clear the codes is to hold the "tab" down for 5 seconds and wait for the code(red) light to "light up" and then hold the tab down for 3 seconds..this does not seem to be happening..

do i have to read all the codes from every socket in order to clear the codes ?? or can i clear codes 1 socket at a time..

is there another way to clear the codes in one shot..

any help would be appreciated..

I usually hold the button a little longer than 5 secs. Try 10 seconds but the procedure is correct. But you have to read all the codes for that socket.
How many error codes are you getting???

U can also clear the codes by disconnecting the battery for a couple of hours. The computer resets everything. Make sure you have your code for the radio
