oil leak , new thread

My 1992 850 GLT ( live in sweden )

has developed a leak ( picture )

the leak started directly after an oil change

and no , i did not spill oil :)

whats up with this?

i use good syntethic oil , volvo filter .

    Degrease, remove upper plastic cover first. If you use water, be sure that spark plug holes don't fill up with water. Run engine and drive if need be, see where it's coming from.

    Check the rubber hose clamps in that area as well as the condition of those rubber hoses. If worn, replace. You may want to remove the plastic valve cover as well, some oil may have gotten in there and you should clean it. This will make it easier for you to pin point where the leak is coming from.
