93 stalling when cold 850

My 93 850 glt w/96k started stalling the last coupled of days before its
warmed up, weird its 85 degrees in upstate NY. it usallly happens
between shifts, its also takes a while to get it restarted.

at one point I got desprate and remove the hose to the air filter box
to the throttle body to open it up to fresh air, that work but tripped a
code,

it also seems low on power and rough idle.

to date I have done the following maint; (in the last year)

'not sure but I had different stalling 850

I had stallings due to bad gas, (dirty fuel injector, now I use 93 octane from a good station) and due to sticky fuel pump relay or main system relay (two different relays).

The relay related stalling was during driving suddenly engine, break and steering power will go off (since, all tied to the accessories belt!).

'not sure about your problem.

I posted one about rough idle recently, you may try that:
http://www.brickboard.com/AWD/index.htm?id=657305

Wires & distributor cap related rough idle: A coworker of mine told me that when you replace ignition wire set and the distributor cap/rotor, you should do it at the same time. His reason was that if these wires start leaking, it will generate higher voltage then there should be. As a result the rotor and the cap can go bad with in seconds (after installing with bad wires) and sometimes you cannot see any burn marks on the cap/rotor contacts. I am not sure how accurate this is.

Sorry, which part? 850

what ever part solved your rough idle, it a $18 check valve I think,

Here is the picture 850

I must correct that 40% of the rough idle has been solved with this.

yoh... 850

Hold on, I am at work. Let me get the camera and take pic for the system and pump relays.

I am not sure should I send it to your e-mail or load it here. Let me know.

'not sure but I had different stalling 850

My Indy told me to ONLY use Chevron and/or Texaco gas (aren't they the same company now?). At any rate, I already do so . . .

maf sensors??? 850

anyone replace there maf sensor or try to clean it

I think this may be my problem

I think gas station matters too 850

It is not only what type of gas you get but also how old the station is you are getting it from. Some say that medium aged stations are good, not too new and not too old (Goldilocks breakfast job??).

I tried one full tank over the other and found out which one does not cause stalling.

I have problem with one BP but not with the other. Also, if they just fill their reservoir then all the sediments will be diluted, not a good time to get gas there.

'not sure but I had different stalling 850

That can be upwards of $2.10 per gallon here in San Francisco. I must settle for regular unleaded with the occasional infusion of super unleaded.
