I believe both turbo and non-turbo's have an oil trap, at least the 850's. It is located under the left side of the intake manifold which must be removed to access the trap and the hoses going into the block. I think it is approximately a 2 hour job for a professional to remove and replace just the manifold. I haven't had the pleasure. :>)

Only non-turbo's also use a flame trap.

Good luck.

Far as I know the oil trap is only used on non-turbo models. What kind of symptoms are you seeing?

Mike

non turbos have a flame trap, turbo's do have a oil trap, on my old 244T it was under the intake manifold (i changed it on the 244T i know), and as far as i know it is also under the intake on my 850T

Hi Mike,
I think high pressure in the case of my 850 turbo is causing:
1. rear main seal leak
2. turbo return seal leak
3. dipstick tube seal leak
Any idea what the main problem is?

Joe
