Headlamp washer nozzles not ejecting fluid 850

when I pull back the "wash" selector, it rinses my windsheild and headlamps, but washer fluid only comes out of the jets on the hood (for the windshield). No fluid comes out of the nozzles on each headlamp washer unit. I didn't even know that there were nozzles there until I looked closely! I bought the car with this problem and didn't even know it. What's a common thing? The holes do not look clogged at all....i hold down the wash lever for a fair amount of time, too, and the wipers just move...

In my opinion, it looks to be a faulty headlight washer check valve. Its a little difficult to get to the check valve. You'll have to pop the hood, and stick your hand between the back of the passenger side headlight and radiator. You'll have to feel your way to the check valve. I found that disconnecting the fluid hose from the passenger headlight washer arm will give you enough slack to reach the valve. Just make sure the hose doesn't go behind the plastic paneling, or you're in for some trouble getting the hose back as I did. After removing the valve, you can try to use the washer and see if fluid comes out of the hose. If it does, then you know that the check valve is faulty. Replace it with a new one.

Read your reply and bought a new check valve, since my headlight washers work but no fluid on drivers side and very little (drops) on passengers side. I can't see anything or get my hand between the headlight and radiator to feel anything. Can you remove something easy to get at this valve? Maybe I'm missing something. Any more advice? Tanks
