timing belt replacement 850 1993

How tough is it to change the timing belt on a '93 850 with a manual transmission. I think mine is due because the label states that it was last changed at 110,000 miles and it now has 160,000. I recently purchased the vehicle and would like to get all the critical preventive maintenance stuff done asap.

Have a look at this site:

http://volvospeed.com/bay13.htm

It has lots of do it yourself instructions including
timing belt replacement. I've done it twice following
the sites steps. You just have to take it slow to avoid
making a mistake (mis-align the cam(s) and engine damage
will occur).
