Hi, I would like to know how to program a volvo remote control with my 850 1994 sedan. I know that the car doen't need PIN and System tester, it only need some manual adjusts. But here - BOLIVIA - no body knows how.

Turn the igition on and off four times, and leave it on the fifth time. Push both buttons on the remote, turn off the igition. Your programming the car to accept the remote.

I had the same problem. Used the instructions given, but it didn't work. I went to the dealer and he did it for me. As I recall, you have to be inside the car with the doors locked so that the anti-theft sensor on the dash is flashing red. Then you want to direct the remote toward the sensor when you are programming the car to it.

(My car came with one remote (the early model for the 95) and I purchased another on Ebay. When I couldn't get it to work, I figured I'd bought a bad one, but the service manager at the dealership where I bought the car did it the first time round.)

you are not alone, it hasnt worked for me either, even
though the numbers on the remote matchs the origional.
