Clear tail lights for 850 850 1996

Some jerk recently backed into my '96 850 wagon breaking both upper and lower tail light lenses on the right side. Of course, whoever it was didn't have the courtesy to leave a note. Anyways, I figure to look on the bright side and see if I can install clear lenses from a '99 or newer v70. It would go nicely with my clear corners and clear side markers.

Has any done this or know if it's even possible. It looks to me that the lights should drop right in.

The clear uppers should be no problem. I think the bottom parts are the same, I'd with volvoworld.com for prices.

Just ordered some from a salvage yard in California. Thanks for verifying my hunch.
