Uncomfotable Drivers Seat V70-XC70 1999

Hi Volvo experts,
Over the last year, the cushion of my seat has gotten progressively uncomfortable. Not being a seat expert, I put my rear (posterior) in the capable hands of Danbury Volvo. They identified that the foam was "shot"
and replaced it for $300, parts and labor.
The problem is, it is still uncomfortable. I feel like I am pitched towards the
side window , all the time.
I took a string line and ran it across the tp of the ridge sides of the cushion, and to my suprise, the cushion is level.
Is there an adjustment for the side support of the seat?
I don't really want to throw more money into the seat. Can anyone help me?

Most wear occurs on the window side of the seat. The material on the side of the seat could be streched more, allowing the new foam to compress more than the other.

Check the seat underside to see that the new foam stuffing is properly supported.

How does the seat come out- do I unbolt it from the floor, or is there some other way it releases?
Thanks for your response!
Larry

Don't think you need to take it out for an inspection. Set the seat up high, become a contortionist and look and feel.

I can't help you, but I am curious.

How do you make out when you sit in the other seats in the car?

We have had 4 740s and one, our '90 744 has a high seat cushion, My head touches the roof in this car, I swear thar it is 2" higher than the others, but when I measure it, it appears to be the same, go figure.
