nope its a turbo, turbo=no flame trap, but should have the pipes and housing which still need cleaning just not the trap itself

attached to the sort of back of the main air inlet hose from the filter to the throtle body...if you type "bay 13 volvo" into google oyu will find the bay 13 site that describes cleaning them etc, is for a 850 but its basically the same car..
